Rev. A. William Staten, Jr., Pastor

Reverend A. William Staten, Jr. is an energetic Kingdom Ambassador who has a great passion for the purpose and plan of God for his life. In January of 2006, he accepted his call to ministry. He was ordained by his father in April of 2008 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago Heights.

Throughout his ministry, Pastor Staten has shown his faithfulness through committed service. In January of 2013, he joined Calvary Baptist Church of Chicago as Executive Assistant to the Pastor. He currently serves as 3rd-Vice Moderator for the Greater New Era Baptist District, Young Pastors and Ministers Director for Baptist General State Convention of Illinois and also served 15 years with the Office of Convention Meetings, Planning and Housing for the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc.

In December 2019, after much prayer and guidance of the Holy Spirit, Rev. Staten was called to serve as Senior Pastor of Alpha Temple Missionary Baptist Church. In January of 2020 he joined in Holy Matrimony with Danielle Stephanie and they currently reside in the Chicagoland area with their beautiful daughter Gracie Gwendolyn.
